THE GOOD HUMAN PROJECT

OUR COMMITMENT TO PEOPLE & PLANET

Our commitment under The Good Human Project, is to integrate sustainability, ethical development, and positive community impact into everything we do. It’s also just about being a good human and working with good humans –everyday.

He aha te mea nui o te ao?
He tangata. He tangata. He tangata.

HOW WE’RE MAKING A DIFFERENCE NOW

REPOSITIONING & SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

  • Prioritising Adaptive Reuse – Where possible, we rework existing buildings to extend their lifecycle, reducing waste and preserving embodied carbon.

  • Thoughtful New Development – When new construction is needed, we ensure its energy-efficient, durable, and built for the long term.

  • Sustainable Partnerships – We collaborate with contractors, architects, and suppliers who champion sustainable design, ethical labour practices, and responsible material sourcing.

REDUCING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

  • Smart Energy Solutions – Where feasible, we integrate solar power, passive design principles, and energy-efficient systems to lower operational carbon.

  • Material Repurposing & Circular Economy – We actively salvage and reuse materials from projects to minimise landfill waste.

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL IMPACT

  • Auckland University Support Award – We provide support to Business School students facing financial challenges through our donations to the Business School Student Support Award

  • Giving Back Through Volunteer Days – We take 3 days off a year to volunteer our time (and money) to vulnerable communities – if you have a charity who you think could benefit, please reach out.

  • Supporting Local Business – We prioritise local trades, small businesses, and social enterprises, ensuring economic value stays within the community.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING

The Good Human Project is our commitment to doing business in a way that makes a lasting, positive impact. As we continue to grow, so will our ability to do more, give more, and build better.
